ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The Department of Math & Science was established with the institute in 2013.  Involved in imparting quality education and preparing groundwork for the students to excel in their chosen streams of Technical Education.   
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, equivalent to +2 Science level of Nationally recognized standards. Basic Computer Literacy and Communication Skills are also imparted to the students by assortment of highly qualified and dedicated faculties. The department aims to guide the students of each stream according to the vision goals set by their Chosen Departments.
 

VISION

To provide a solid foundation for the students to kickstart their journey in technical education and inculcate human ethics and moral values along with an understanding of basic scientific and technological concepts.

MISSION

1.To provide quality education to all students of streams of technical education in institute in accordance with the vision of their respective departments.
2.To introduce students to hands-on experience at learning with higher focus on the practical aspects of learning.
3.To accelerate and optimize the effective and economical use of the resources.
4.To motivate and train students to achieve career goals in different engineering fields.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:

  • PEO-1 To acquire a strong background in basic science &mathematics & develop abilities to use these tools in electronics engineering.
  • PEO-2 To develop the ability to apply technical competence in the fields of electronics engineering.
  • PEO-3 To attain professional excellence through lifelong learning
  • PEO-4 To attain the professional qualities useful in industry.
  • PEO-5 To produce graduates possessing ethical & moral behaviour.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)

  • PO-1 Basic & Discipline specific knowledge: apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals & engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
  • PO-2 Problem analysis: Identify & analyse well defined Engineering problems using codified standard methods.
  • PO-3 Design/ development of solutions: Design solutions for well defined technical problems & assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
  • PO-4 Engineering Tools, Experimentation & testing: Apply modern engineering tools & appropriate technique to conduct standard test & measurements.
  • PO-5 The engineering practices and society sustainability & environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability environment & ethical practices.
  • PO-6 Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects & effectively communicate about well defined engineering activities.
  • PO-7 Life-long learning: Ability to analyse individual needs & engage in updating in the context of technological changes.
